The SearchMed directory is provided for informational purposes only. Inclusion in the directory and/or website does not imply recommendation and/or endorsement by SearchMed of any provider, facility, or service listed.

HIPAA & Medical Records

Medical records will not be shared unless the subscriber chooses to share them. SearchMed commits to keeping records in an encrypted database and isolated, unshared server storage. SearchMed is not a Covered Entity under HIPAA in connection with provider discovery searches.

Privacy & Database Collection

Data collected through SearchMed is for internal use only and will not be sold or shared without prior consent, except as required by U.S. court subpoena. We will never sell your data to a third party and we will never track you.

Use of Information

Personal data may be used to generate internal aggregate statistics to improve the platform. Your identity is kept strictly anonymous in any such analysis. Search queries and location data are used solely to deliver results.

All content on SearchMed, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright law. Reproduction without prior and express written consent of SearchMed is strictly prohibited.
